I have always been an artist. Though I’ve worn other hats, reporter, speaker, writer, wife, mother, underneath it all remained that spark that makes one an artist. It doesn’t go away, and for that I am extremely grateful. Over the years, I certainly starved it now and then, but today I try to feed it every day.
I am one of those artists who never settles on a “style.” About the only thing I’m definite about is oil paint. It is my medium. But what I choose to paint, and the manner in which I paint it, is always an open question. That’s the fun part, just trying to answer that question: What am I doing right now on this canvas?
