Sharman Owings and Drew Ealey are the winners of the People’s Choice award in the 2026 Olympic Peninsula Art Association member’s show.
Their piece titled Roar took the blue ribbon after intense voting at the opening of the show, which runs through October at Dandelion Botanical, 4681 Sequim-Dungeness Way. The two began collaborating in 2023, with Drew in construction and Sharman in painting. From a stand-up paddle board to whimsical works in miniature, the collaborators say, “crazy has no bounds,”
Second place winner in the People’s Choice award is Rebecca Baldwin for her painting Autumn Moon.
Taking third place is abstract artist Vince Carl for his painting, Reign of Ruin.
